Six months after encountering Samara and her killer video tape, Rachel Keller and her son Aiden leave the city to live in a small rural town where they think they'll be safe. Soon after they arrive, however, Rachel hears about a college student who died nearby in circumstances similar to Samara's past victims. Now it appears that Aiden's life is in danger from Samara once more, and Rachel must investigate the little girl's past if she wants to save her son.
Ring Two, The The cursed videotape returns to wreak more havoc in a second American film based on the hit Japanese film series. Hideo Nakata, the director of the original Ringu, is at the helm with Naomi Watts starring The Ring Two picks up six months after journalist Rachel Keller (Watts) and her son Aidan (Dorfman) almost died at the hands of an evil apparition. But the quiet life they seek in a small Oregon town eludes them when Rachel learns of a local teenager who died a violent death whilst watching television. She quickly realises that the cursed videotape - which kills whoever watches it after seven days - is still in circulation.

Ringu, directed by Hideo Nakata, spawned a sequel directed by Nakata and a prequel not directed by Nakata. The Ring Two is directed by Nakata from a script by Kruger but bears little resemblance to its Japanese counterpart. None of this, by the way, has anything to ...
Just as Bambi Special Edition hits video stores, The Ring Two brings us violent, rampaging deer.
The antlered attack on Rachel (Naomi Watts) and her son is never explained, nor do deer figure into this second saga of the creepy videotape that seems to cause the death a week later of anyone viewing it. But at least it qualifies as something probably not seen before on film: A couple of dozen stags stand around menacingly, then two of them stampede, bashing the moving car. Poor Watts and her battered automobile didn't even get seven days' notice.
Perhaps the filmmakers wanted us to understand that even normally shy, peaceful creatures get thrown off by ...
